Neus Escobar will be attending the 21st Annual Conference on Global Economic Analysis on “Framing the future through the Sustainable Development Goals” which will take place in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) from 13 to 15 June 2018. The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas among economists conducting quantitative analysis of global economic issues. Particular emphasis will be placed on applied general equilibrium methods, data, and application. There she will be presenting for the first time the assessment of the global land use and greenhouse gas emission implications from targets on bioplastic consumption in leading market regions including the EU, United States, Brazil and China; based on the very regarded GTAP model. The study arises the STRIVE C2 Component and is meant to provide very interesting policy discussions.
